Remote Home Learning

Summer Term Home Learning Update 12.6.20

We recognise that many children are feeling frustrated and may no longer motivated in the same way as before. Therefore we have put together another printed pack of learning and will be changing the format of the Ridgeway Remote Learning for future weeks in order to provide further support and structure.

 

Remote learning lessons and activities – These will now be within one year group document which can be found on the class pages of the website or on Purple Mash. The document is structured to indicate the activities that children should complete each day for Reading, Spelling, Maths, Writing and Topic (or Transition Projects for Y6). Additional PowerPoints and resources will be linked to support your children in new material or revision of previously covered materials. Where possible we will continue to try and provide work which does not require printing. If your child has completed the exercise books that we distributed at the beginning of school closure you can now request another book by contacting the School Office.

We teach Maths using White Rose. On their website they are releasing daily teaching videos and work for all year groups.
