How much Pupil Premium does Ridgeway Farm CE Academy receive?

The level of the premium in 2017-18:

£300 for a services child

£1,320 for FSM children

£1,900 for LAC or children adopted from care.

Our school received £20,993 for 2016/2017. We estimate for 2017/18 we will receive £24,680.

The money is to help children who may, due to circumstances, be underperforming.

Children at Ridgeway Farm CE Academy who are in receipt of Pupil Premium are helped in the following ways (dependent upon their individual needs):

1:1 teaching to raise attainment 

Higher Level Teaching Assistant support in small groups or one to one in reading, spelling or maths

Emotional Literacy Support

Extra curriculum activities that will help children grow in confidence

Equipment to support learning needs e.g. i-Pad etc  

 

Do you qualify?

Income-related Employment & Support Allowance

Support under Part V1 of the Immigration & Asylum Act 1999

The guaranteed element of State Pension Credit

Child Tax Credit, provided you are not entitled to Working Tax Credit & have  an annual gross income (assessed by HM Revenue & Customs) of no more than £16,190

Working Tax Credit ‘run-on’ – the payment someone may receive for a further 4 weeks after they stop qualifying for Working Tax Credit

Universal Credit
